This section provides direct support to the CEO of SCAA in strategic planning and governance oversight. The section also facilitates endeavors that support the organization’s strategy, goals and directions related to organizational development initiatives and culture.
Internal Audit, Compliance & Risk Management
The internal audit sections provides independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the organization’s operations. It helps the organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.
The overall function of the legal section is to provide advice on legal matters and interpretation of the law to the SCAA management to ensure compliance with all existing legislation, statutory instruments and other international obligations. The section is also responsible for all company litigation from inception to trial, as well as day-to-day case management.
