Job summary
Monitor, implement and coordinate daily operations and activities on the airside and providing assistance to the supervisors, with other airfield duties.
Principal duties and responsibilities
- Conduct airfield inspections to ensure continuous serviceability of facilities and infrastructures such as runway and taxiways for safe aircraft operations.
- Operate vehicles on the airfield as part of daily duties.
- Plan and coordinate daily aircraft parking and other airfield activities/events with other airport users and stakeholders.
- Assist in handling of emergencies, incidents, and accidents on the airside.

Job summary
To assess and audit activities related to aerodrome certification, the safety management systems, and documented processes at Praslin Domestic and Seychelles International Airports.
To also provide support in the development and drafting of Airport safety policies and procedures.
Principal duties and responsibilities
- Conducting airport safety compliance assessments of the airport safety training systems and manuals in place, in line with the STS-ADR.
- Supporting the continued Aerodrome certification of Seychelles International airport in line with the aviation safety regulations.
- Supporting airport management functions to understand the requirements and assist in the implementation of new aviation safety regulations.
- Assisting in the development of systems and processes to continuously improve aviation safety.
- Review pending legislation / best practice and identify / communicate requirements for the business and support the implementation of same.
- Review incident reports to analyse and develop high quality compliance reports and performance metrics.
- Engaging with the competent authority, Safety Regulation Division in relation to annual audits and regulatory submissions.

Job summary

Principal duties and responsibilities

- Escalate actual and potential deficiencies accordingly as per established agreed procedures to rectify faults within allocated timeframe.

Job summary
Plan and manage Information and Automation System facilities within the Seychelles Flight Information Region (FIR) to ensure continuous and reliable Air Navigation Service.
Principal duties and responsibilities
- Participate actively in the planning and development of CNS policies, internal procedures, business plans, CNS roadmaps, manuals, and standards to ensure high standard of operation.
- Evaluate the life cycle of current ATM Automation systems, security system for ANS and CNS facilities including video surveillance system, access control system and information security. Plan and organise accordingly for their successful replacement to ensure continuous safe and reliable operation.
- Keep track and be conversant with the latest standards stipulated in the STS‐CNS and STS‐ANS ensuring that all standards relating to ATM are followed as stated in these documents.
- Research and manage assigned ATM Automaton System, Security system and IT projects based on project management principles to enable projects to be conducted in a standardised methodology.
- Keep track of Information & Automation System expenditure by inputting purchases into the CNS/ATM cash flow statement and give budgetary information input into the section budget for areas assigned to him/ her.

Principal duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for the repair, maintenance, installation of all refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation systems and appliances of SCAA (including Praslin and outside the limits of the airport).
- Management of spares stock, budget preparation, training, and evaluation of staff
- Ensure that preventive and corrective maintenance of air conditioning and other refrigeration equipment are carried out with direct intervention on repairs when defect is beyond the competency of subordinates.
- Establish the limits and lifespan of existing system.
- Initiate studies for replacement
- Contribute to the operational evaluation of new air conditioning and refrigeration system and help define specifications.
- Participate in and supervise the installation of said systems.
- Draft operational procedures for users and technical procedures for routine maintenance purposes for technicians for integrating into SCAA’s operational manual.

- Assist the General Manager with the overall management of the Airport Electrical Maintenance Centre (AEMC) and AEMC on Praslin Airport and in project planning and implementation, procedures and operational policies
- Assist in all strategic work related to the section and ensure that they are in line with the organization’s master strategic plan
- Assist with the preparation of the Division Operational Budget
- Ensure the efficient operation of the sub units, compliance to local and international standards, recommended practice in Annex 14
- Manage the human resources aspect of the division, ensuring that the man-power needs are met.

Job summary
Responsible for the overall administration, supervision and efficient operation of the mechanical workshop both on Mahe and Praslin airport.
Principal duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for the proper and effective maintenance and repair of SCAA’s vehicle fleet and other equipment associated with the airport operation.
- Establishes effective programmes of routine and preventive maintenance procedures for all vehicles, equipment, generators, rescue boats and outboard engines.
- Plans, carries out and evaluates preventive maintenance schedules for all vehicles and mechanical equipment for best cost effective solution.
- Responsible for the sourcing of parts and supplies for vehicles and mechanical system maintenance. Advises section/unit heads on technical issues related to vehicles and equipment. Ensure that minimum levels of spares are kept at all times.
- Responsible for the overall control of the assets of the workshop, i.e. spares, tools, machinery and equipment.
- Maintains records, prepares reports including any specialized maintenance or repair records of equipment and vehicles. Write and submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on the workshop’s activities. Ensure that accurate and up to date records are kept for all SCAA vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure maintenance, repair and service of petrol and diesel fire engines, including all associated auxiliary equipment such as drive train, running gear components, hydraulics systems, (valves, piping, control systems), aerial ladders, medic units, generator sets, chain saws, lighting components and portable pumps.
- Prepares an annual cost estimate to maintain, repair and/or replace assigned equipment. Responsible for the preparation of the Mechanical Workshop recurrent budget.
- Ensures maintenance of breathing apparatus charging systems for the Fire Service.
- Prepared a replacement programme for all SCAA Vehicles and equipment.
Minimum Qualifications / Skills / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive/mechanical engineering or equivalent; additional vocational training in heavy duty equipment maintenance and repair.
- Diploma in management or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience as Senior Mechanical Engineer
- A sound technical background and wide experience in motor petrol and diesel vehicle and heavy plant or machinery.
- Two years experience in the repair and maintenance of fire apparatus or closely related heavy-duty equipment and the ability to demonstrate the proficiency required.
