Conversion of Flight Crew Licences Issued by ICAO Contracting States (Initial Conversion)

Introduction

Licence conversion refers to the process of converting a pilot’s licence issued  by one ICAO contracting to a licence issued by another contracting state. Licence conversion plays a significant role in facilitating the seamless transfer of pilots' qualifications, enabling them to operate aircrafts registered in Seychelles and ensuring the highest standards of aviation safety and efficiency. Pilots must present a license that is still in force and complies with the regulations of the issuing ICAO contracting state. It is crucial for pilots considering licence conversion to familiarise themselves with our specific regulations and processes. Licence conversion requests should be submitted to our office following the outlined steps mentioned below.
