Release of Licence and Medical Details to a Foreign Authority or Airline

Introduction

Our office may receive requests from foreign authorities or airlines to confirm your licence and medical details when you apply for a job in their country. These requests serve to verify your information and ensure compliance with their regulations. Additionally, we may also receive direct requests from you, independent of any request from the authority or airline, to send your licence and medical details to them. In such cases, we handle these requests individually and follow a specific process to ensure the secure transfer of your information. To facilitate this process, we issue a verification letter to the requesting party, confirming the licence and medical information we hold on your behalf. However, it is important to note that before releasing your licence and medical details, whether in response to a request from a foreign authority, airline, or directly from you, we require your explicit consent.

Your consent is vital in maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of your information. It serves as a safeguard, ensuring that your details are shared only with your approval. We prioritise your data security and adhere strictly to privacy regulations. To grant your consent, we kindly request that you provide us with a formal request explicitly authorising the release of your licence and medical details. This request should be submitted to our office following the outlined steps mentioned below.
